According to some of the judges Rumbi Dzimba and Black Opal International Marketing Director Dashan Naidu as always it was a tough job for the five judges to come up with the top three winners due to the tough competition that was before them.
Munesu Munawa was the second princess bagging $1000 and first princess Hillary Mandibaya walked away with $2000.
The $5000 grand prize went to the new reigning queen Chiyedza Chinake who outdid all eleven finalists.
All three winners will be partakers of Black Opal beauty products for the next twelve months at the same time representing the brand in different ways.
This year’s red carpert event was held at Zimbali gardens which blended very well with the international brand.
Award winning choreographer and dancer John Cole did the girl’s polished choreography.
“The unique part of this annual pageant is that it attracts and celebrates women of all sizes married or single with at least two kids who are expexted to have knowledge of Black Opal products and the facial features that suit the brand,” said Tanaka Ngorora head of Black Opal Zimbabwe.
Entertainment was provided by Gafa Winky D, Tammy, DJ Stavo and Pro Beats also among those who graced the event was Miss Mt Pleasant 1st Princess Floret Chikomwe.
The finalists were dressed by Chic Street Boutique, Posh and Edgars.
